Famous Places For Photography
“You don’t make a
photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the
pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the
people you have loved.” – Ansel Adams
And, the places you
have travelled!
There is no other
experience richer than travelling places and permeating in the placid beauty of
nature. Just like its cultural diversity, India offers diverse landscapes with
snow, desert, forest, mountains, rivers and sea all in one place.
Once you have
soaked your soul in the idyllic art of nature, these places in India give you
the opportunity to weave a story out of your experience; moment by moment,
photograph by photograph.
Places To
Visit For Photography :
Rajasthan
The forts in Rajasthan are built in
a golden brown colored stone. In broad daylight, the forts would shine like a
gold castle because of the sun. During night, the forts are decorated with
lights which is a wonderful sight to feast with your eyes and DSLR.
Other common picturesque places are Thar Desert, sand dunes,
local people, camels and most importantly Amer fort.
Madhya Pradesh
Madhya
Pradesh is a must visit for stone lovers! It has many temples, monuments, forts
carved fantastically and standing tall since ages! The Khajuraho Temple known
for the Kamasutra carvings, is a must see for the best in temple art.
Kerala
Kerela, famously known as God's Own Country, is one of the most photogenic places in India. It enraptures you with some dreamy and heavenly scenic views of its backwaters, forts, beaches, palm trees and churches.
One of the best places to visit in Kerela, is Athirapally Waterfalls which will blow your mind and so your lens!
Ladakh
Apart
from its northernmost location, the bouquet of diverse landscapes and Buddhist
heritage as well as the ethnic highlights are simply overwhelming. You
certainly need a camera to shoot the spectacle and savour it for the lifetime.
Varanasi
Varanasi (the city of life) is brimming with colors across spectrum never ceases to fascinate travel
photographers. What intrigues us is how this oldest city of India becomes a
living, breathing canvas for the concept of Circle
of Life & Moksha.
Varanasi, with its 80 river ghats along the
river Ganga, provides a spiritual and vintage charm to the city, thereby giving
you some splendid shots there.
India is such a
culturally rich place that each city, each lane can turn out to be an amazing
photographic subject, you just need an eye for it. This list doesn't sum up all
the places but definitely marks out places which shouldn't be missed!
