  Christmas is a special time when many people want a little warmth and comfort. This is especially true for college students who are away from their relatives. A bit of nice decor and cheerful attributes of the holiday will never hurt. Let’s look at simple options for decorating your home or apartment to help you feel the spirit of Christmas even when you are away from your parents. Without being too “Christmasy” I tried to translate the feeling of the holidays with a fun and punchy kick!  Working with classic winter hues I muted the tones, saturated the colours, and punched out the shadows.

Getting out into the natural world is another great way to increase our zest for life.
